Justin Wayne Burney, age 26, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Grenada Medical Center in Grenada, MS. He was born January 13, 1987 in Hattiesburg, MS to Keith Aaron and Darlene Hardy Burney. Justin was a member of First Assembly of God Church, loved music and playing his guitar. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf and video games, and woodworking. Justin loved spending time with family and friends, especially his beloved dog, Boston.
Visitation is planned for Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks on Thursday, November 14, 2013 with Bro. Charley Farmer officiating. Burial will be in the Jumper’s Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
Justin is survived by his parents, Keith and Darlene Burney of Coffeeville, MS; his brother, Jeremy and sister-in-law, Amanda Burney of Benton, LA; his grandmother, Joyce Burney of Coffeeville, MS; his niece, Reese Burney and his nephew, Layn Burney of Benton, LA; a host of very close aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Gene Burney; and grandparents, Billy Jack and Ann Hardy.
