Helen A. Casso, 88, of Worcester, died Friday, November 8th in St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness. She is survived by her sister, Mary Casso Baylor of Worcester; her two nephews and caretakers, Robert Lee and Tom Genduso both of Millbury and several grand nephews and grand nieces. Two brothers, Joseph and Michael Casso and two sisters Carmella Mangiatordi and Lucreatia Wylie predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Angelo and Raphaela (Mazzone) Casso. Helen had been employed as a supervisor for Digital Equipment Corporation. Her favorite pastimes were cooking, reading and her walks.
There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
