Carol Faye Branch Sharpe, 64, of Tifton died Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2013, in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Steve Tucker will officiate with burial to follow. Brad Sutton, Brian Cromer, Steve Selph, B. J. Hale, Coy Barber and James Scarberry will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 10, 2013, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Sharpe was born on April 30, 1949 in Tift County and was the daughter of Hugh Branch and Carolyn Hill Branch, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one brother. She was a former nurse and a member of Bible Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Sharpe is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Sherrie Hopkins and Kimberly West, both of Berlin and Angela and Steve Selph of Tifton; two special children she raised as her own, Will Boatner of Tifton and Abby Boatner of Moultrie; four grandchildren, Ashley Durden, Amber Hale, Landon Selph and Emily Hopkins; and four great-grandchildren, Dillan Hale, Calliopy Coney and Karmyn Sutton.
