Obituary

Portsmouth------Joseph F. Conklin, 51, died at Memorial Hospital, North Conway on Sunday, November 3, 2013 doing what he loved, his passion for river and stream restoration.
Joseph was born November 15, 1961 in Haverhill, Mass., the son of Marie J. (Shea) and Joseph F. Conklin, Jr. He served in the U.S. Army and had been employed at Trout Unlimited.
Joseph enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a fishing guide in the State of New Hampshire.
Survivors include his two sisters, Anne M. Conklin of Brighton, Mass. and Moira J. Campbell of Canterbury and two beloved nieces, Kaitlin Gagnon and Nicole Gagnon, both of Canterbury.
There will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Beane Conference Center, 35 Blueberry Lane, Laconia, N.H. A Time of Reflection will be held at 2:00 pm.
