Sarkesian, Hermine passed away in Clemmons, North Carolina on October 29, 2013. She moved to North Carolina to be near her niece. Hermine was the youngest child of Vanetzi parents, Zakar and Kerezouhi Kazandjian Sarkesian. She was born January 15, 1927, in Chelsea, MA. She graduated from Suffolk University, Boston, MA, with a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s in Public Administration Degrees. She retired from the U.S Department of Education. Hermine was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. In addition to her parents, a sister, Emily Sarkesian Ray and a brother, Hratch Sarkesian, preceded her in death. Hermine is survived by two nieces, Carolyn (Floyd) Boles of Clemmons, NC, and Gwendolyn Rogers of Sevierville, TN.
