WEBSTER – David R. Bacon, 60, of 112 Main Street died Monday, October 28, 2013 in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston after being injured in a fire in his home.
He leaves a son, Ryan D. Bacon of Webster; a stepson, Shawn Kennedy of Webster; 3 grandchildren, Mackenzie Bacon and Shaila and Mariah Kennedy; 4 sisters, Illona Knych and Karen Chenard, both of Webster, Susan LeBeau of North Grosvenordale, CT and Joanne Jezerski of Charlton; nephews and nieces.
He was born in Webster, the only son of Roland D. and Irene B. (Gancy) Bacon and was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Bacon was a machinist at H. D. Machine in Webster before retiring. He was also a motorcycle mechanic. He loved riding and working on his Harley Davidsons.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 8, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley.
