Obituary

Annette R. (Charbonneau) Beauregard, 93 of Peabody and formerly of Salem, died Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Continuing Care at Brooksby, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Frank Beauregard, with whom she had shared 61 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Marie Anne (Beaupre) Charbonneau. Annette first worked for Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Employment Office before joining the Navy at the beginning of World War II where she did clerical work in classified records. Following her tour of duty with the WAVES, she returned to Salem and continued working in the Employment Office. From 1966 through 1984 Annette was secretary for the City of Salem School Department in Special Ed sector.

An active woman, devoted to her family, she had many interests. She was a member of the Richelieu Club North of Boston, the AARP and was a long time member of Ste. Anne’s League of Catholic Women.

She is survived by four sons, Raymond Beauregard and his wife Mary Lou of Des Moines, IA, Norman Beauregard of Houston, TX, Roland Beauregard and his wife Melody of Weare, NH, Philip Beauregard of Charleston, SC, two daughters, Pauline Needham of Lynn and Claire Maniero and her husband Manuel of Amesbury. She also leaves 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Lucille Gaudreault and granddaughter, Anne Marie Beauregard.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt.114 / 1-A] Salem on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 9:45 A.M. to be followed by her funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 11:00 A.M. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be on Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
