Robert T. Mahony of Dennis, formerly of Natick, died at home on November 1st surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Far Rockaway, NY on June 25th, 1936 to Elsa (Christian) and James J. Mahony.
Bob attended Xavier Military Academy and Boston University. He worked as a salesman in the arcade and coin industry having a long career at Bally Northeast. He later became self-employed and is known for his accomplishment of designing and manufacturing the Lottery scratch ticket vending machine. He enjoyed boating with his family on Cape Cod and loved collecting and showing his antique cars.
He was predeceased by his sister Arlene Perry and brothers James and Gerald.
He is survived by his devoted wife Lois of 54 years, his daughter Kim Repella and her husband Don of Medway, daughter Susan Mahony of San Francisco and daughter Tracey Naughton and her husband Michael of Orleans. Grandchildren Nichole and Brittany Repella and Billy Naughton, niece Pam Perry, nephew Ralph Perry, sister and brother in-law Judith and Phil Murphy and their family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Wednesday November 6 at 11:30 A.M. in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, November 5th from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
