LOWELL—Emma M. (Pearson) Ganem, 93 years old, a Lowell resident for 56 years, died September 21st, at Saints Memorial Medical Center. She was the wife of the late K. Joseph Ganem.
She was born in Batley, England, a daughter of the late Abram and Ellen Pearson. The family came to Lawrence, in 1913. After her marriage, she lived in Methuen and Haverhill, until 1948.
For over 34 years, Mrs. Ganem owned and managed the Lamplighter Shoppe, Inc., in Chelmsford.
Surviving her are two sons and a daughter and their spouses: Drs. Kenneth J. and Barbara Ganem, of Moultonboro, NH; Robert W. and Connie Ganem, of Lowell; and Elaine and John F. Reilly, of Lowell; also thirteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
