Sr. Therese Plouffe, CSC, (Sister Mary Didyme), 100, of the Sisters of the Holy Cross died October 31, 2013.
Sr. Therese Plouffe, CSC (Sister Mary Didyme) entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1931 and made her final profession in 1938. She served in the Congregation for 82 years.
Sr. Therese (Sister Mary Didyme) was born in Montreal on March 22, 1913, the daughter of Didyme and Josephine (Montreuil) Plouffe.
Sr. Therese served in the Congregation as a dietician in Lafontaine, Ont., Manchester, Suncook, Nashua and Somersworth, NH, and in Springfield, MA. Sister also served as driver for the community in Nashua, NH.
She retired to S. George Manor, Manchester, NH in 2002 and was transferred to Holy Cross Health Center in 2006.
Sr. Therese is survived by nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at St. George Manor, 357 Island Pond Rd., Manchester. Burial was at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech St, Manchester.
