Shirley Anne (Newton) Cornwell, 73, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 in U.Mass/Memorial Hospital, University Campus in Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 24 years, H. Richard ‘Dick’ Cornwell, their children; Kevin Joseph Moreau and his wife Arlene of Medway, Marc Leonard Moreau of Marlboro, Richard Douglas Cornwell and his wife Vea of Charlotte, N.C., and Cynthia Lynn Henry of Marietta, GA., 6 grandchildren; Kevin Scott Moreau, Sarah Anne Moreau, Julia Elizabeth Cornwell, and David Richard Cornwell, Davis Henry and Corey Henry.
Shirley was born in Winchendon, daughter of Leonard Francis and Helen Josephine (Stearns) Newton and graduated from Winchendon High School. Shirley and Dick moved to Charlton in 2006, prior to that they lived in Framingham and Sudbury and summered in West Dennis. She also enjoyed quilting and was in the Quilters at Overlook.

A Memorial Service for Shirley will be Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2PM in the James C. Nicholl Chapel at the Overlook Community, 88 Masonic Home Rd., Charlton with the Rev. Dr. James C. Widman officiating. Burial will be Private at a later date in Edgel Cemetery in Framingham.
