Obituary

Alfred Stephen Page, age 90, passed away on Oct 25, 2013 at Wingate of Springfield surrounded by his family. He was born on May 2, 1923 in Chicopee to the late Henry and Alice (Keblish) Page. He was a communicate of the former Assumption Church in Chicopee and also sang for the Springfield Symphony Chorus. He worked for over 25 years before retiring for the City of Chicopee. Alfred was a WWII Army Veteran attaining the rank of Corporal. He leaves one brother William Page and his wife Lucielle of Chicopee; two sisters Martha Lynch of Chicopee and Elizabeth Kuzniar and her husband Stanley of Chicopee and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers Henry Page Jr., Francis and Arthur Page and by one sister Mary Zombik. The family would also like to give a special thanks to the staff on the second floor of the Wingate at Springfield Nursing Center for all the care and comfort they gave to Alfred. All services will be Private. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made in Alfred’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association P.O.Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
