Obituary

Scot D. Miller, 53, of Worcester died Sunday, October 27th in Autumn Village after a battle with a rare form of cancer, Leiomyosarcoma. He leaves his fiancée, Margaret Asselin of Worcester; his children, Stacey Miller, Bethany Miller, Jennifer Hall, as well as his fiancee’s children, Patricia Asselin, Sean Asselin and David Dyer all of Worcester; his mother, Donna (Waxter) Miller of Indian Head, PA; four brothers, Chris Miller of Greensburg, PA, Randy Miller of Colorado Springs, CO, Timothy Miller of Melcroft, PA and Kevin Miller of Columbus, OH. He was predeceased by two brothers, Philip and Eugene Miller and a sister, Kimberly Miller.
He was born in Pittsburg, PA the son of the late Floyd E. Miller. Scot was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard and belonged to the Polish Naturalization Independent Club and the American Legion Donegal Post. He enjoyed singing karaoke, playing the harmonica, fishing and cooking. He loved motorcycles, collecting coins and cowboy hats. He also enjoyed finding a good belt buckle. Mr. Miller worked at Disneyworld in Cinderella’s Castle as a sous chef and was a chef for several local facilities including Irish Times, You Inc. and Papa Gino’s. He was an expert marksman and enjoyed going to the gun range. He only had one request…”MUSIC!”
Calling hours will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. Friday, November 1st in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester.
