Obituary

“Charlie”
Age 80
On the morning of October 24, 2013 Chuck passed away in his beloved cabin home on Dixon Lake after a long battle with cancer. Chuck was born on December 20, 1932 elder son of Hayden H. and Olga N. Clark. He was a retired sheet metal worker for Local #10, served in the US Army and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt with family and friends. Chuck loved to play cribbage against all who dared, and was quick to take advantage of any and all errors played against him. Chuck served as an officer of the board on Local SMW #10 credit union and was vice president of Castle Greens Gun Club for many years. He also served as a scout master and gun safety instructor. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Joan of 55 years and daughter-in-law Jane, grandsons Matteo & Jacob. He is survived by brother Jack (Jan) Clark; brother-in-law Fred (Doreen) Hall; children Dr. Donald, George (Diane), Clare, Hayden (Viva), Kenneth (Lisa) and Marti Garin (James); many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Memorial Service Saturday ((11/2) at 1:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2493 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul with visitation one hour before the service. A special thank you to Hospice of Grand Rapids and all the hard work and assistance they provided. Memorials preferred to Hospice of Grand Rapids, MN or any cancer society of your choice.
