Thelma M. Carroll, age 88, died at home after a short illness on October 18, 2013. She was the wife of John Carroll, former head of the Taunton High School Science Department for 58 years. She is survived by her children Michael Carroll of West Wareham, MA, Maureen Piscatori of Taunton, Kathleen Carroll of Sound Beach, NY and her brother Robert Calvey of Cranston, RI and of Port Charlotte, FL. She also leaves five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services are private at the request of the family.
