Evans, GA - Mary Elizabeth Petersen, 90, loving wife of William W. Petersen, entered into rest on Sunday, October 27, 2013.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Petersen was a member of the 700 club in North Carolina. She was a Civil Draftswoman II, and worked in the Engineering Department for the city of Augusta. She also worked at the Texas Highway Department in Houston, Texas, and was employed by the Georgia Department of Transportation in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mrs. Petersen is survived by: her husband, Lt. Col. William W. Petersen (Ret.) of Augusta, GA, one step daughter, Christine P. McMahon (Joe) of Augusta, GA, two step sons, W. David Petersen (Dorothy) of Lawrenceville, GA, W. Richard Petersen of Richmond, VA, six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
