Ruth M. Catalanotto, 55, of Kingston, NH passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2013 after a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family in her home when she passed. She was born on April 18, 1958 in Stoneham, MA, a daughter of Thomas R. and Barbara (Cavanaugh) Barrett. She was a devoted wife, mother and daughter. She was very proud of her children and loved watching her son play baseball and her daughter play softball. She also enjoyed cooking. Traveling with her family was a true joy for Ruth. She attended Calvary Bible Church in Derry and her deep faith was an extremely important part of Ruth's life.
In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her loving husband of 26 years, David Catalanotto, her two beloved children, Nicholas Catalanotto and Caitlin Catalanotto, two brothers, Thomas Barrett and John Barrett, one sister, Patty Barrett Corriveau, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 30th at 1:30pm in Calvary Bible Church, 145 Hampstead Road, Derry. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery, Kingston, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Bible Church, 145 Hampstead Road, Derry, NH 03038 or to the Nicholas and Caitlin Sports travel fund at TD Bank, 53 Church Street, Kingston, NH 03848 to defray costs for their upcoming sports travels.
