Ruth A. (Corbett) Mullin, 87, of Medway passed away to be with her husband Bill on October 23, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Medway. She was the beloved wife of William “Bill” J. Mullin who passed away in 2012.
Born in Medway on October 26, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Stanley E. and Grace (Sawyer) Corbett.
Mrs. Mullin was a resident of Medway for the past 54 years. Before her retirement, she worked at the former Braman Screw in Millis for 30 years.
Mrs. Mullin was all about her family and she cherished the time spent with them. She was also an avid Red Sox fan.
She is survived by her daughter Caroline Fletcher of Medway, four grandchildren, William E Fletcher and his wife Amy, Robert M. Fletcher Jr., Christine R. Fletcher and Timothy M. Fletcher and his wife Leann, three great-grandchildren, Chelsea L., Amanda E. and Alison M. Fletcher and one great-great-granddaughter Ava Lynn.
She is also survived by two sisters, Elvira Belair of Woonsocket and Emma Lapierre and her husband Al of Wrentham.
She was the sister of the late Dorothy Longo, Lucy Levine, Edward “Sonny” Corbett and Mary Johanson.
At the request of her family, graveside services will take place privately at Oakland Cemetery in Medway.
