Donald R. Barre 66 of 107 Cove St., died Monday, September 20th at his home after being sticken ill. He leaves his wife of 46 years, Irene A. (Biron) Barre, two sons; Richard S. Barre of Dudley, William G. Barre of East Brookfield, two daughters; Kimberly J. Kirby of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Doreen A. Smith of Holland, two brothers; Paul Barre of Spencer, Jon Barre of North Brookfield, a sister, Beverly Magierowski of Spencer, 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Spencer, he was the son of Donald & Katherine (Benoit) Barre and has lived here since 1986.Mr. Barre was an electronics technician and owned and operated Futronics for 30 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Anne's Church in Fiskdale.Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Thursday, September 23rd at 11 a.m. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. A calling hour will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
