Residing at Sophia Snow Place, surrounded by family, passed after a long illness on October 20, 2013. Daughter of the late Albert Chester Toomer, Sr & Isabel Blyer of Savannah, GA. Devoted wife of Horace G. Shearer, Cherished mother of Carmen (Warren) Mulhern of Jamaica Plain, Carol (Joseph) Best of Roxbury, Haji (Jasmin) of Randolph, Devoted sister of Theresa (late Bernard) Howard of Newport News, VA. Also lovingly survived by five grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
