Worcester - Diana M. (Lacroix) Gallant, 106, formerly of Canterbury St. Worcester died Saturday March 16 in Oakdale Nursing Home after an illness.
Her husband Edward J. Gallant died in 1964. She leaves one son Lionel F. Gallant of Rochester, NH; two daughters Lorraine J. Fontaine of Worceseter and Jeannine M. Laferte of Canton, MA; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son Roger Gallant who died in 1923. Mrs. Gallant was born in Princeville, Quebec, Canada daughter of Charles and Phelmina (Poisson) Lacroix.
She was a former member of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Worcester.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday March 19 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.ROYFUNERAL.com) 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a mass at 10 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church 43 Belmont St. Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Monday March 18 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
