Stuart H. MacNeill, age 84, of Pembroke, died on Friday, October 18, 2013, at his home.
Mr. MacNeill was born in Springfield, MA, and then moved to Scituate, MA, where he grew up and attended public schools. He also attended Northeastern University.
He served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War, and in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, retiring in 1975 with the rank of Master Sergeant. Among his many decorations is the Bronze Star Medal. In between the Army and Air Force service, he worked for D.S. Kennedy Company in Cohasset, MA. After military retirement, he settled in Pembroke, MA, and worked for R.F. Systems, H & W Industries, and Seavey Engineering Associates, all of Cohasset.
He is survived by his wife, Yukae (Yamane) MacNeill; a son, Michael S. MacNeill; and a sister, Jean C. Williamson.
Funeral and interment services will be private.
