Elina Maffeo, 88 of Medford, died Friday after a long illness in the Courtyard Nursing Care Center, Medford, MA.
Born in Italy she lived in Medford since 1976 and was the daughter of the late Stella (Ruggiero) and Eugenio Iusto.
Elina was a Candy Wrapper at the former Schrafft's Candy Company for many years.
Beloved wife of the late Augusto Maffeo. Devoted mother of Nicola Maffeo and his wife Marisa of Medford, Armando Maffeo and his wife Luciana of Danvers. Loving grandmother of Daniela, Erica, Gianni, Elina and John. Sister of Emilio Iusto and Elena Gambino both of Italy.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Hill Mausoleum, Malden.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Elina’s name to the Hospice of the North Shore and Greater Boston, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
