Michael R. McCurdy, 60, of Simmonsville Avenue, Johsnton, a retired routing dispatcher for Pace Motor Lines in Stratford, CT, died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the husband of Norma J. (Laplante) Kubbe McCurdy.
Born in Southington, CT, he was a son of the late John and Jean (VanTrain) McCurdy. He had lived in Johnston for the past year previously living in Providence.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his step children: Mary Rodriguez and her husband, Edgar of Providence, Charles Kubbe, Jr. and his wife Tory, of Providence and Stefanie Kubbe of Cranston, his seven adored grandchildren and his siblings: Deborah Sargunas and her husband, Michael of Thomaston, CT and Thomas McCurdy and his wife, Diane of Meriden, CT.
