Mary Boza, 51, of New Bedford died Thursday October 17, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Stephen and Dimitra (Kaika) Boza, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
Miss Boza was employed as a teacher at Roosevelt Middle School and Keith Middle School for her entire career.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Wheelock College.
She is survived by her siblings, Stratis Boza of Portsmouth, NH, John Boza of Westport, and Zoe Boza of New Bedford; her beloved niece, Stephanie Mary Boza; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday October 22nd at 10 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 186 Cross Rd., Dartmouth. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
