Donald Lee Boaz, 75, passed away October 12, 2013. He was a Navy Veteran and worked for Rapid Industries as an engineer. Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Claude R. and Effie M. (Napier) Boaz; his twin brother, Ronald Boaz and a grandson, Nathan Allen Rodgers. He is survived by his wife, Gladys M. “Cookie” Boaz; children, James A. Boaz (Patricia), Lisa M. Hollon (Mark), Cheri L. Rodgers (Steven), Michael L. Boaz (Nicole) and James “Butch” Boaz; 12 grandchildren, Joshua Ryan Hollon, Christopher Allen Boaz, Mary Beth Duff (Bradly), Nicholas James Boaz, Tiffany Danielle Flynn, Stephanie Lynn Rodgers, Angela Renee Bailey (Ryan), Chasitie Janae Flynn, Taylor Marie Boaz, Miranda Kay Boaz, Dakota Jerome Boaz, Eva Mariah Boaz and 2 great-grandchildren, Christopher Allen Boaz, Jr and Trinity Jayde Duff. Graveside service will be Thursday at 2 P.M. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery with military honors to follow. Visitation will be at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway on Thursday at 9 A.M. until 1 P.M.
