EAST BRIDGEWATER - Sandra A. (Tolman) Lufkin, 61, of East Bridgewater diedunexpectedly Friday at Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of Wayne B. Lufkin.
Born in Quincy, a daughter of the late Thurl W. and Barbara (Spear) Tolman,she grew up in Hanson and graduated from Whitman-Hanson High School.
Mrs. Lufkin had been an East Bridgewater resident for the past 32 years.
She also graduated from Brockton Beauty Academy.
Mrs. Lufkin was a cashier for Super Stop & Shop in Whitman.
She was a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels program in East Bridgewater and on the executive board with Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
She is survived by two daughters, Heidi J. Lufkin and Gretchen C. L.Vallejos, both of East Bridgewater; a brother, Carl "Wayne" Tolman ofHalifax; two sisters, Gail Lehto and Karen Tolman, both of Lantana, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are private. Family requests donations be made to Union Congregational Church, 105 Pleasant St.,East Bridgewater, MA 02333.
