Stephen Nicholas Bally, 21, of Londonderry, NH died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 12th, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Orlando, FL. He was born on November 25, 1991 in Manchester, NH son of Dale Bally Jr. and Debra Bally. Stephen was a graduate of Londonderry High School, Class of 2011. In August of 2013, Stephen began attending Full Sail University in Orlando where he was studying digital design. He loved customizing and—occasionally—riding motorcycles and ATV’s. Stephen came to life in the outdoors and enjoyed hiking and camping. Most of all, Stephen enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Stephen is survived by his mother and stepfather, Debra Bally and Dave Masello of Londonderry, NH. He is also survived by his is father, Dale Bally Jr. of Elyria, OH, maternal grandparents, Wendell and Judi Berry of Newport, NH, paternal grandfather, Dale Bally Sr. of Elyria, OH. Stephen leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles; Jed Berry of Dillon, Montana and his wife Dr. Michelle L. Anderson, Joe Masello of Atkinson, NH, and Eric and Shelley Murphy of Manchester. Many aunts and uncles reside in the greater Elyria, Ohio area: Michael and Nancy Bally, Mark and Twila Bally, Darryl Bally, Dave Bally and Jeanne Bally in addition to many beloved friends and cousins. Stephen left behind many remarkable friends and loved ones such as his two best friends, Denis and Dimitri Smalley of Billerica, MA. Stephen’s death was preceded by his grandparents, Joseph and Rose Ann Masello and Shirley Bally.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, October 17th, 2013 from 4 – 8PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Funeral services were held Friday October 18th at 2:00PM in the Central Congregational Church, 14 Crescent Street, Derry. Burial followed in Pillsbury Cemetery, Londonderry.
