Barbara M (Moore) Connolly 76, of Natick died Friday October 11, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Hudson, surrounded by her loving daughters.
She was the beloved wife of the late John J. “Sean” Connolly who died in 1999.
A Natick resident for 50 years she was the daughter of the late Francis and Catherine (McCarthy) Moore.
Mrs. Connolly was a Natick Police Crossing Guard who served for 37 dedicated years protecting the safety of several generations of Natick students and their families.
She also worked with her late husband for many years with his cleaning company.
Mrs. Connolly enjoyed summers in York, Maine, their cottage in Wells Beach, and ocean cruises in the Caribbean during the winter months.
Above all she was devoted to her family and providing the needed care for her late son Michael.
She is survived by three daughters Patricia M. Connolly and her partner Margaret Burke of Centerville, Barbara A. Thompson and her husband Kevin of Hudson, Christine Connolly of Natick, one sister Catherine Boyce of Weymouth and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Michael Connolly, sister of the late Geraldine Cacciola, and Frances Cotter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, October 15, from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common.
