Peter James Manzi of Pawcatuck, CT died unexpectedly Sunday, October 6, 2013. He was 31 years old. He was born May 20, 1982 in New London, CT the son of Donald and Debra (Burtchell) Manzi. His parents survive him.
Peter is also survived by his girlfriend Amanda Dorsey, his daughter Caydence Manzi and his son due to be born in February of 2014. His sister Amber (Manzi) Higginson, her husband Frank Higginson and nephew Jacob Higginson of Worcester MA also survive him, as well as his aunts Anna Manzi and Laurie Burtchell and many cousins.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Mary (Andrelli) and Andrew J. Manzi Sr. and maternal grandparents Gail (Myer) and John Burtchell.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, October 12, from 6 to 8pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, October 13 at 1:30pm at Avery-Stoddard Cemetery, Route 214, Ledyard.
