Sokol, Edward 85 of Chelsea and formerly of Revere passed away on October 7, 2013. Mr. Sokol was born in Chelsea and was a resident of Revere for 42 years. He attended the Chelsea Schools and was a graduate of Chelsea High School. Edward was a graduate of New England Pharmacy School. He was a sales and management executive for Merchant Tire Company in the Greater Boston area. He was a member of the Jewish War Veterans, Temple B’nai Brith and a long time Mason.
Beloved husband Dorothy (Steinmetz) Sokol. Devoted father of Brian Sokol, Andrew Sokol and his wife Lori and Mark Sokol. Dear brother of the late Beverlee Black. Loving grandfather of Zachary and Matthew.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Donations in Mr. Sokol’s memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284.
