E. Susann (McCarthy) McGurn, 73, of Auburn died Saturday, October 5th in St. Vincent Hospital. She leaves her companion of many years, Donald Miglionico; two sons, Jay Novack and his wife, Donna of Charlton and Shawn McGurn of Auburn; two daughters, Traci Stuart of Auburn and Kelli Riel of Worcester; a brother, David McCarthy of Greenfield; a sister, Debi More of Arizona; seven grandchildren, Ryan Novack, Tyler Stuart, Kayli McGurn, Emily Novack, Shane Riel, Connor Novack and Kyle Riel and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her beloved dogs, Minni and Suzi. Ms. McGurn was predeceased by a grandchild, Angel Stuart.
She was born in Greenfield the daughter of Paul and Ruth (Phelps) McCarthy. Susann was the office manager and secretary for Manning Chiropractic for many years.
Calling hours are Thursday, October 10th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
