Mary L. (Murach) Cikacz, age 94, of Salem, NH, died Friday at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, MA.
She was born in Lawrence, MA, where she grew up and was educated. She was a resident of Salem for the past34 years.
Mary was an assembler for Western Electric in North Andover, MA. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Parish in Windham, NH and was a very prayerful and holy woman. Family was her life and she gave unconditional love to her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all her friends. She had the most beautiful smile, even at her worst.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred Cikacz, her son Fred J. Cikacz, her twin daughters who died at child birth, and her siblings, Edward and Matthew Murach and Nellie Janowski.
She is survived by her daughter: Marcia and her husband Paul Healey of Salem, NH;
Her son: Joe and his wife Beverly Cikacz of Methuen, MA;
her grandchildren: Kathleen and her husband John Tilton, Paul T. Healey, Lynne and her husband Samuel Tilton, Eric and his wife Kathryn Cikacz, and Jarod Cikacz
her great grandchildren: Samuel Tilton, Daniel Tilton, Amelia Cikacz, Ryan Cikacz, Christopher McCartney, and Seann McCartney
Several Nieces and Nephews, including: Maryanne Murach, who showed Mary great devotion.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, Oct. 8th from 8-10 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 Am at St. Matthew’s Parish, Windham, NH. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Ave, Haverhill, MA 01830 or to St. Matthew’s Parish, 2 Searles Rd, Windham, NH 03087.
