Dr. Denton Arlis Burch, age 81, of Douglas, GA passed away at his home after a brief illness. Mr. Burch was born on May 1, 1932 to the late Elisha Burch and Belle Ellis Burch.
He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth "Libba" Dockery Burch of Douglas, GA; Daughter and son-in-law:
Peggy Burch Greene and Mike Greene of Thomaston, GA; Granddaughter: Marie Elizabeth Greene and Grandson: Michael Anthony Greene both of Thomaston, GA. Brothers: Leon Burch of Douglas, GA and Ellis Burch of Barnesville, GA; sister: Dewilda Wood of Griffin, GA.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Douglas, GA.
