Graveside funeral services for H.L. “Tink” Geoghagan, age 75 of 35 Geoghagan Road, Ashburn will be held Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mr. Geoghagan died Wednesday at Tift Regional Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Geoghagan was a life long resident of Turner County, the son of the late Joseph S. and Clara Peacock Geoghagan. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy, a Mason member of Sycamore Lodge #210 F. & A.M. and Hasan Shrine Temple. He was a retired Agri-Chemical Salesman and a member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church. He was preceeded in death by his wife Melba Minter Geoghagan.
Survivors include his four daughters, Debi Davis, Albany, Ga. Sheree Hickman, Ashburn, Ga., Marsha Wissinger, Polk Penn., and Robin Satchell, Sycamore, Ga. his brother, Jim Geoghagan, Tampa, Fla. sister, Doris McDaniel, Macon, Ga., fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from seven until nine.
