Obituary

A new Angel ascended to heaven on October 4th 2013. After 78 years on Planet Earth, Precille (Lemieux) Cote passed away after a short stay at Morton Hospital. She was born in Taunton, to the late William and Elaine (DuFour) Lemieux. In her early years, Precille was an accomplished pianist and singer. For many years, she would sing solo at the former St. Jacques Church and at the Taunton Green during the Christmas Holiday. She was an avid walker, walking to and from her job as a Teacher’s Aide in the Taunton School Department. Precille loved camping, winters in Florida, reading, dancing, crossword puzzles and playing cards. What Precille loved most was her family. She loved with such allegiance and steadfastness that she became our icon of “Devotion to Family.”
Precille leaves behind the one man she loved, Gerald Cote. Her four sons: Donald and Jeanne (Brezinski) Cote of Georgia, Douglas Cote and his partner, Cheryl Bean of Taunton, David Cote of Taunton, Dennis “Topper” and Debbie (Moquin) Cote of Middleboro, and only daughter, Denise (Cote) Whitmore and her husband, Steven Whitmore of Taunton. In addition, Precille leaves 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Precille Cote now has risen, but those who knew this resilient lady happily prize their memories of her, for she managed the soft art of love.
