Patricia A. (Doherty) Petrone, a 54 year resident of Melrose, entered into eternal life on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Life Care Center in Stoneham following an extended illness. She was 81 years old.
Patricia was born in Boston on March 18, 1932, a daughter of the late William Doherty and Margaret (Doherty) Doherty. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated at St. Mary's Parochial School and graduated from Charlestown High School. Patricia was a homemaker most of her adult life and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and most of all spending time with her family.
Patricia is the beloved and loving wife of 54 years to Edward R. Petrone. She is the devoted mother of Teresa A. Williams of Melrose and Judy Lustwerk of Dracut. She is the loving Grandma to Robert, Megan and Melissa Williams and Michael and Noelle Lustwerk.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Patricia's Funeral on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 8 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main St. Melrose followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, (corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts. Melrose) at 9 A.M. Interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. Visiting hours will be on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
