ALICE E. (ARKELL) HUNT, age 88, a homemaker, died on Tuesday, Sept. 14th in Brockton at the home of her daughter, Lolita C. Lifcovich. She was born, raised and educated in Hingham where she resided for over 70 years. Mrs. Hunt then lived in Abington for 12 years before moving to Brockton 4 years ago. In 1995, Mrs. Hunt was honored by the First Baptist Church of Hingham as one of its longest active members.Wife of the late Charles W. Hunt, she leaves her two daughters; Calista A. Andrews of Holbrook and Lolita C. Lifcovich and her husband Michael of Brockton. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 18th at 10 AM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham.Friends may visit at the Downing Chapel on Friday from 5-8 PM.the interment will be in the Liberty Plain Cemetery, Hingham.
