BILLERICA - Thomas Martin Cormier, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday September 27th at the age of 47. He was born on December 7, 1965, and raised in Tewksbury, the fifth child of the late Martin and Dorothy Cormier. Growing up he was a member of the Orbiteers Drum Corp and the Tewksbury Civil Air Patrol. Tommy joined the Army after graduating from Tewksbury Memorial High School and was a member of the Army and of the National Guard, receiving the NCO of the year award in 1992 from the Massachusetts National Guard.
He loved race cars, motorcycles, music, and he loved dogs especially Sundance and Duce. Tommy loved the Bruins, Patriots, Red Sox, and his Country. He was an amazing artist and entertainer, famous for his snow sculptures, pool parties and Halloween haunted houses on Rogers Street in Tewksbury and his ability to love and laugh. He was always there to help someone in need with a laugh or a hammer and always with a smile.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and family including his brother Michael Cormier of Mesilla Park, NM, sisters Donna Cormier of Center Conway, NH, Patti Capone and husband Michael of Canterbury, NH, and Mary Jo Britton and husband Chip of Glendale, AZ nephews Joe Cormier, Tim Britton, nieces Sara Holtby, Jessica Johnson, Laura Vartanian, Jocelyn Weyrich, Katie Holtby, grand-nepehws Dylan Holtby, Kaleb and Bentley Vartanian, and grand niece Lena Cormier and his roommate Michael Samoorian.
