Heather L. (Gamson) Rua, age 37, of Fall River, passed away September 22, 2013. She was the loving daughter of Antoinette (Fournier) Souza and the late Frederick Gamson and step-father John B. Souza. She was the wife of Daniel Rua. She worked as a residential counselor for People Incorporated for many years. She loved to vacation to Florida and take trips to Cape Cod with her daughter, who was her best friend. She loved to go to the beach and also loved daisies and dragonflies.
Heather was the loving mother of Danielle Gamson of Fall River; sister of Jessica Gamson of Fall River; step-sister of Sherry Bowden of Springfield and Richard Souza of Middleboro; granddaughter of Anita Purcell of Fall River. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many cousins and aunts.
Her calling hours will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on FRIDAY from 11:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. with a service to immediately follow. Cremation to follow.
