Oreste Petion (83) of Dedham died Sept 21st in the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Dedham. He was the Husband of the late Anite (Tabuteau) Petion.
Oreste was born in Port-Au-Prince Haiti Son of the late Camelo and Maria (Baez) Petion. He was a resident of the United States since 1995. While in Haiti he worked as a plumber for the Government of Haiti Water Dept. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Dedham, and loved discussing politics, watching boxing, listening to music and dancing.
He is survived by 2 Sons, Clay and Wife Danille Petion of Dedham, Igor and Wife Marie Alie Voigh Tabuteau of Randolph, 4 Daughters Elizabeth Tabuteau of Randolph, Ivenice Petion of Haiti, Mylourdes Petion Doliscar and Husband Gary, Daphney Francois-Joseph all of Canada, 12 Grandchildren, Gamyld, Garyanne, Clayton, Darvin-Clyde, Darchelle, Kachina, Victoria, Aleetha, Steven, Jonathan, Kristana and Vanessa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 471 High St. Dedham Wed. Oct 2nd at 11 am. Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. Visitation Tues. Oct 1st in the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St. Dedham from 6-8 pm. Funerarias Multi Culturel in charge of arrangements.
