Helen Louise Crandall, 69, of Mystic died Sunday, September 22, at home. She was born October 8, 1943 in Mystic, CT to John F. and Edith M. (Clark) Crandall. She was a graduate of Fitch Senior High School in Groton and was a lifelong resident of the area.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Mystic. She was employed at New England Accessories of Old Saybrook CT before they closed and then at LEARN in Old Lyme, CT.
She is survived by 3 brothers, John Crandall, Frederick Crandall, and Franklin Crandall, 2 sisters Joan Russo and Carol Oddo, as well as 19 nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings Priscilla Sauchuk, Edith Knaff, and Richard Crandall.
Helen's family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, September 26, from 6 to 8pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. A Funeral Home Service will be conducted on Friday at 11am. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery.
