John L. Blevins, 53 of Anderson died September 22, 2013 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
He was born January 21, 1960 in Anderson and was self employed.
He enjoyed NASCAR races.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy (Watts) Blevins whom he married March 3, 1995; his father and stepmother, John W. & Sharon Blevins; son, John M. Blevins, daughter, Angela Chapin all of Anderson; four grandchildren; four sisters, Debbie Culbertson and Joanie (Cecil) Widner and Karen (Jimmy) Graham all of Tennessee and Lisa (Jeff) Richwine of Alexandria; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara A. Manring.
Private family service will be held at a later date.
