Worcester - Rita Dugal, 85 formerly of 11 Marble St. died on Monday September 13 in the Lifecare Center of Auburn after a short illness.
Ms. Dugal is survived by two sisters Irene Vick of Worcester and Ruby Bourdeau of Auburn; a niece Janice Boucher of Charlton; a nephew Arthur E. Vick of Center Barnstead, NH; several great nieces and nephews and her extended family Laureen Grenier and Celine Grenier both of Pelham, MA and several close friends. A brother Homer C. Dugal predeceased her.
She was born in Marlboro daughter of Ernest and Emma (Beauregard) Dugal and worked as a billing clerk for Massachusetts Electric Co. for many years before retiring.
Ms. Dugal was a former member of St. Peter's Church and enjoyed home decorating as well as spending time with her family and friends.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday September 17 at 11 AM in St. Peter's Church 931 Main St., Worcester. Burial to follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
