Kevin M. Brickley, 56, of Litchfield, NH passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the home of his brother in Everett, MA surrounded by his loving family following a brief battle with cancer. He was born on July 21, 1957 in Everett, MA a son of the late James and Lorrie (Broderick) Brickley. Kevin was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Chelsea, MA. He was very adventurous and enjoyed skydiving, helicopter rides, motorcycling, boating, water skiing, horseback riding among a few. Kevin also enjoyed music and singing. He was very proud of his Irish and Indian heritage. Kevin loved the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. Around Christmas time each year, he loved to dress up and play Santa for local parties and events. He even had his own specially made suit and belt. Kevin was the life of the party and a jokester. He had the ability to talk to anyone and everyone knew him. He was a very loyal friend. Kevin had a big heart with a soft spot for children and those who were in need.
He is survived by his sister, Kathleen Feathers, his brother, Dennis Brickley, three nieces, Jennifer Feathers, Megan Brickley, and Michelle Brickley, one great-niece, Madison Lester, and his beloved Janet Coughlin.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 3 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A funeral service followed at 7:00pm following the calling hours in the funeral home. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2:00pm at AJ’s Sports Bar and Grill, 11 Tracy Lane, Hudson.
