Bennett, Jean L. of Quincy, former longtime resident of Marshfield, passed away on September 19, 2013 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Robert Bennett. Loving mother of Carol Elder and her husband Ocie of Dorchester, Susan Carter and her husband Richard of Dover, NH, Robert Bennett and his wife Lori of Plymouth and Gail Bennett of Marshfield. Also survived by many grandchildren. Daughter of the late Peter and Helen (Noonan) Fallon. Dear sister of the late Leo Fallon. Jean was born in Boston and graduated from Boston schools. She enjoyed the beach, dancing and bowling. Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, September 24 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St., Marshfield at 10:30 a.m. Interment in MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45 p.m. Contributions in Jean’s memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
