Mary L. Pouliot, 85, of Manchester, died September 19, 2013 at the Elliot Hospital after a period of declining health.
She was born in Lisbon, ND April 12, 1928 and the daughter of Elmer and Florence (Fitzsimmons) Thomason. She had been a resident of Manchester since 1969.
Mary served as a sergeant in the US Marine Corps from 1951 to 1956.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending her summers in North Dakota.
She was married to Hyacinthe M. Pouliot who died in 1997.
She leaves four children, Joseph B. Pouliot and his wife, Deeann, of Manchester, Michael G. Pouliot and his wife, Kristine, of Candia, Jean M. Glass of Fresno, CA and Mary Ann Henry and her husband, Richard, of Manchester; 12 grandchildren, Hyacinthe, Craig, Jessica, Jeffrey, Jordan, Jacob, Joshua, Jacqueline, Alexandra, Callie, Abigail and Audrey; 5 great grandchildren; 4 siblings, Leo Thomason of Montana, Michael Thomason of Denver, CO, Rita Cole of North Dakota and Terry Thomason of Minnesota; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
