Obituary

WEBSTER – Frank J. “Choppy” Slota, 83, of 105 Lake St., died Thursday, September 9, in Christopher House of Worcester. His wife of 32 years, Caroline M. (Jezierski) Slota, died in 1995.

He leaves a daughter and her husband, Donna M. and Henry A. Eastwine of Dudley; a brother, Joseph Slota of Dudley; 3 sisters, Josephine Zacek of Dudley, Genevieve Ciukaj of Southbridge, and Stella Krawiec of Webster; a granddaughter, Victoria L. Eastwine of Dudley; nieces and nephews.

He was born in Webster, a son of Peter and Anna (Mazur) Slota, and was a lifelong resident. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Slota worked as an inspector at Wyman Gordon Company in Worcester before he retired.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, September 20, in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. There are no calling hours. The family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701
