WORCESTER___Anna (Florczyk) Brzoska, 73, of 49 Loxwood St., died Saturday Sept. 11 in her home.
She leaves her husband of 50 years, Henryk Brzoska, two sons, Jan Brzoska of Poland and Marek Brzoska of Worcester; two daughter, Zofia Piascik of Worcester and Jadwiga Brzoska of Poland; two sisters, Stefania Kisiel and Genowefa Pianka both of Worcester; eight grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Poland, daughter of Franciszek and Stefania (Szydlik) Florczyk and has resided here for 12 years.
Mrs. Brzoska worked for several companies including Eddington Thread Manufacturing Co., where she had worked a few years and retired in 2002.
She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and was at one time a member of its choir.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday Sept. 14 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Monday Sept. 13 from 5 to 8 p.m.
