Ivan F. Longley Jr.
Worcester-Ivan F. Longley Jr., 58, of 66 Glendale St., died Saturday, September 11, in St. Vincent Hospital, after an illness.
He leaves his companion of 25 years, Christine A. Butkewich, with whom he lived. Two aunts, Alice Smith and Wilfreda Parson, both of Worcester and an extended family of cousins and friends. He was born in Worcester, son of Ivan and Jennie (Parson) Longley He graduated from St. Peter’s High School and Worcester State College. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Medical Corp.
Mr. Longley was a property manager. He was a member of the Tatnuck Post American Legion.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, September 14, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME 9 Hammond St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church 341 June St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, September 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
